Homeless Connect Toronto - update
Sean Cuts His Hair THANK YOU
A huuuuuge thank you to everyone who donated so generously to Homeless Connect through Sean's haircut fundraiser. We raised $2,240! A big thank you again to Sean for coming up with the idea and being such a good sport!
Homeless Connect ETCBC Group
Thank you to all who have signed up for Homeless Connect. If you have signed up but are not on the WhatsApp, please let Sam (sam.mo@etcbc.org) know so we can add you and bring everyone from ETCBC together.
The following is the original announcement:
ETCBC is continuing to build our partnership with Homeless Connect Toronto and we are looking for volunteers for their big event on Sunday, October 26. Lots of roles are available depending on what you're interested in doing including greeters, registration, guides, gophers and data entry.
Clothing Sort Days
If you're not available on the day, there are also clothing sort days on October 4, 8, and 9 which you can help out at. Visit Homeless Connect Toronto for more info and to register.
Donations
If you want to donate to Homeless Connect, Sean Choo will be cutting his hair for the first time since the pandemic to raise funds for Homeless Connect and will be donating his hair to a hair donation program.
If an individual donates more than $100 then they can snip a piece of Sean’s hair on Oct 12 after service if they want to.
If collectively we raise less than $1,000, then Sean just chooses his own hairstyle after.
If collectively we raise more than $1,000, then Sean will get a “special” haircut!
You can EMT donations to Pastor Sam Mo at sam.mo@etcbc.org. Please write “Homeless Connect” in the notes of the EMT. You will receive a tax receipt from Homeless Connect for donations of $25 or more.
