Sunday service

Sundays at ETCBC

When you arrive on Sunday, the easiest way to find the service is by entering through the side of the building. From there, the Inner Court is to the left, the space where we gather for worship, conversation, and connection.

Our service begins at 10 a.m. with everyone together, children, youth, and adults, worshiping side by side in an intergenerational space. After our shared time together, kids are invited to their own age-specific programs while the rest of us continue with Scripture, teaching, and reflection.

On most Sundays, a member of our preaching team shares a message rooted in Scripture and shaped by real life. Our preachers come from within the congregation, not because they have all the answers, but because they’re part of the community, listening and learning alongside everyone else. Our hope is that the teaching creates space: space to wonder, to wrestle, to be challenged, and to be encouraged, all within the context of a community that’s walking the journey together.

After the service, the space turns into a place for informal conversations, reconnecting with friends, or meeting someone new. If there’s no program after, don’t be surprised if lunch plans start forming in the moment with small groups heading out to local spots.

At ETCBC, our gathering doesn’t stop when the service ends. It often continues around food, in lingering conversations, and in the rhythms of everyday life.

Is there a program for kids?

We value being a church where all generations worship and grow together. That’s why our Sunday service begins with kids, youth, and adults together in the same space, participating in the life of the community from the beginning.

After our shared time of worship, kids are invited to their own age-specific programs led by a team of trusted, caring adults. The children’s spaces are designed to help kids explore faith in a way that’s engaging, thoughtful, and age-appropriate through stories, play, discussion, and connection with peers.

Our volunteers are members of the congregation who are known and trusted. Each one has been screened and trained to create a safe, friendly environment for all children.

Your child is welcome to stay with you during the service too. We believe kids don’t need to be quiet to belong. Their presence, questions, and energy are all part of the community we’re building together.

What is tithing?

Tithing is a privilege and responsibility of our regular attendees to participate in and support our ministries, but it’s also part of our discipleship.

This is part of who we are. This is a way that we say “thank you” to God for who He is, as well as an act of faith and trust. We’re trusting God for what He has given us, trusting Him to provide for us and to be God in our lives.

You can provide your offering through the following ways:

  1. Online via Tithe.ly

  2. Interac e-transfer to offering@etcbc.org

We encourage members to still maintain their normal tithing, and we thank those who have continued to give.

NextGen Ministry: Youth and children

NextGen is our youth and children’s program dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing community where they can discover and grow in their Biblical faith.
