Public forum on mental health, racism, and public safety: Nov 27

We have been part of a multi-faith alliance organized by our local MP, Salma Zahid. On November 27, we're hosting a public forum organized by this alliance on the topic of Mental Health, Racism, and Public Safety. Through this forum, the hope is for attendees to:

  • Gain insights into the forms and impacts of mental health challenges, and resources available for support;

  • Address what it means to be anti-racist, and explore practical strategies to combat systemic racism and ways to create inclusive spaces for all; and

  • Learn about strategies/resources/tools available to ensure public safety of individuals and communities.

Whether you would like to come attend or help, this is a great opportunity for our community to use our building to bless our local community. Please talk to Pastor Willi for more information.
