Sunday service
Our service begins at 10 a.m. with everyone together, children, youth, and adults, worshiping side by side in an intergenerational space. After our shared time together, kids are invited to their own age-specific programs while we continue with Scripture, teaching, and reflection.
On most Sundays, a member of our preaching team shares a message rooted in Scripture and shaped by real life. Our preachers come from within the congregation, not because they have all the answers, but because they’re part of the community, listening and learning alongside everyone else.
Our hope is that the teaching creates space to wonder, to wrestle, to be challenged, and to be encouraged, all within the context of a community that’s walking the journey together.
Community Potluck
Once a month, we gather for a shared meal where everyone is welcome. It’s a space to eat together, connect with others, and build relationships across generations and backgrounds. Whether you’ve been part of ETCBC for a long time or are just getting to know us, this is a great way to experience the heart of our community.
We believe that something sacred happens when people share food and stories around a table. It’s one of the simplest and most meaningful ways we practice community.
Our community potluck takes place at 6 p.m. in the Atrium on the 4th Sunday of every month. Just bring yourself and maybe something to share, if you’d like.

Reframe and Connect
In March, we started a time limited monthly study and share group using Regent College's Reframe Series, a 10-Session video-based Bible study that brings faith to life. Enter into the big story of Scripture and explore how the gospel reframes all of life. Connect with others through discussion, sharing and prayer.
Lunch will be provided (free-will offering) and child care can be arranged.

Timothy Fellowship
Timothy Fellowship is ETCBC’s high school group for students from grade 6 to 8.
It is said in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity”; ETCBC will surely not look down on our youth.
If you have a passion to serve in Timothy fellowship, or want more information on the program, please contact Pastor Janet for more details.
Daniel Fellowship
Daniel Fellowship is ETCBC’s high school group for students from grade 9 to 12.
For generations, it has been a place for youth to grow both spiritually and relationally, as they engage in wide-ranging activities from Bible studies, skits, and discussion groups, to neighbourhood walks, media nights, and retreats.
The fellowship is led by student leaders, as well as adult leaders (Disciplers), with NextGen Pastor Janet Kwok as the head. The fellowship aims to stay connected to the greater ETCBC community, especially in relation to the youths’ parents and guardians.

Young Adult Fellowship
Our Young Adult Fellowship is a space for university students and recent grads to build meaningful relationships, ask hard questions, and explore how faith connects to real life. It’s a community of people in a similar season: navigating studies, entering into careers, making transitions, and asking big questions, seeking to grow together.
It’s a place to wrestle with faith in the company of others, and to discover together what it means to follow Jesus faithfully in the midst of change. This group offers a chance to connect, belong, and walk alongside others on the journey of faith.

CCSA Playoff Softball: Ekklesia and Soteria
Softball has been part of our church community for decades, a tradition that’s brought people together across generations for friendship, fun, and some competition. Each summer, we continue that tradition by joining the Christian Community Softball Association (CCSA), typically fielding multiple teams in both the junior and senior divisions.
Whether someone’s been playing for years or is just stepping onto the field for the first time, it’s a great way to build relationships, enjoy time outdoors, and get connected with the wider church community beyond our walls.
We invite you to come out and support our teams!
